Being a big sister is a big deal! Newborn photo shoots with older siblings always increases the adorable-factor.
It’s a blessing to have close friends living right across the street from us. Mona and her family are always there for us in case of a pinch and our older kids are close friends at school too. We’re lucky to have built a little community within our community.
Welcome the Newest Maple Leafs Fan!
The Maple Leafs hockey team has fans of all ages. Most of which were born into the fandom, like Mona’s son Dev. Since I know Mona and her husband well, I know that this proud daddy is also a Leafs fan. When I saw the blue blanket that matched the team colours, I knew right then and there that we had to use it for Dev. The hockey team was well-represented in a classy way, I think.
A Model of a Big Sister
I’ve been working with Mona’s daughter for a long time now. She’s always super-easy to photograph and her animated facial expressions always make me smile. She’s a beautiful young girl on the inside and out and she’s already proving to be a helpful and caring big sister.
Getting Mona’s daughter to snuggle in with her newborn brother was easy! She was all over him any chance she could get and she respected his delicate frame the whole time. Just before Dev was born I took photos of Mona, her husband and the soon-to-be big sister for a maternity photo shoot. Big sister was so excited to see what wonderful creation was in her mama’s belly! The smile on her face made it abundantly clear.
Belly Button Be Gone
Our photo shoot was scheduled very shortly after Dev was born. So shortly that his umbilical chord fell off right after the photo shoot! A lucky little guy, he was born with a head full of hair. It’s been a month or so since he was born and already his locks are in his face! Between his rich head of hair and thick full lips, this baby boy is beautiful!
Both Mona and her husband now have two mini versions of themselves. Congratulations on their new, beautiful family of four!

I can prove to you how much you can enjoy having your picture taken. Lifestyle photography is about the experience that happens to be served up along side of some great photos.
