Our First Look at Glen Eagle Golf Club was one of a kind, said Leanne.
There is always something quite magical about a fall wedding. When Leanne and Geoff decided to hold their wedding at Glen Eagle Golf Club in Caledon, they knew that the setting would lend itself to some breathtaking colours and images.
One of the things I loved about the couple was how relaxed they were as this really resonated through the pictures. It always speeds up the process when I can work on my artistic vision vs having to work on the couple to try to relax them!
We had decided to do the photo session with Leanne and Geoff prior to the ceremony. One thing to take into consideration with fall and winter weddings is the short window of natural light; therefore you have to take advantage of the daylight hours. This order was recommended as it also allowed them to have fun and take some stress free photos before the big event.
The staff at Glen Eagle Golf Club
Were amazing and gave us access to a number of spots not usually open to the public. As a result, we managed to snap some unique shots and it also freed up the afternoon to focus on the group pictures without having to rush.
I would be hard pressed to pick my favourite shot because they were all unique in summarizing their love story. The most important two that really stood out to me and captured the raw emotions of the day were of the father of the bride and the couple. I adore the first look between Leanne and her dad when he saw his little girl for the first time from inside the limousine. Secondly, was the other poignant picture of the couple when they snuck outside to take a breather from the reception. Their gentle silhouette and powerful connection in the still of the night contrasted to the party they had momentarily escaped from.
My passion and biggest asset is taking the time to make every client comfortable and relaxed before I even pick up the camera. The result? Photos of you that actually look like you at your best! I can prove to you how much you can enjoy having your picture taken. Lifestyle photography is about the experience that happens to be served up along side of some great photos.
