I dare you… Try not to smile while flipping through Marija and Sasa’s engagement photo session at Burlington’s Village Square. Sometimes the connection is undeniable. When two people are clearly connected and in-tune with one another the camera picks up their love and amplifies it for all to see.
Scheduled Cuddle-Time
Engagement photo shoots are always a lot of fun for me and the couple I’m working with. For me, it’s always easier than working with kids and large groups. Engaged couples always come prepared for their photos and ready to smile. For the couple, it’s a chance to cuddle in, kiss and be romantic. There’s no whining and definitely no complaints!
A Location for You
An outdoor location such as Burlington’s Village Square have been fun location for me to shoot at. The shopping area had plenty of great nooks and crannies for me to pose Sasa and Marija in. Choosing a location like this really gives us an idea of what the couple is like. It gives us an insight to who they are together. I like to hold photo shoots for kids in parks where they can play and be themselves. The Village Square is a shopping area that is like an adult playground – there’s so many things for us to do and see here!
Good Friends
Sasa and Marija are a fun-loving couple! They enjoy spending time together, which you can clearly see through the camera lens and in every image. The fact that they love each other’s company made this photo session a breeze, despite the fact that this was their first photo session together. They weren’t sure how to pose or what to do, until I gave them a few directions. They were open to suggestion and followed along great. If they ever felt awkward or unsure, they would just look to one another and smile. They were able to turn any awkward energy into positive energy by simply looking into each other’s eyes!
Another Angle
Sometimes it’s nice to see the love from a different perspective. What do the birds see when they’re looking down from above? Standing on a balcony or hoisting myself up on a tree, helps me look down on the couple I’m working with and see what the birds see. The same is true from the opposite perspective – the ground. I was able to show you a different aspect of Sasa and Marija’s love by sitting on the ground and looking up. And yes, it is as it sounds… I do get up and down a lot during photo shoots. It’s all in a day’s work, running all over the place trying to get the right photos! In the end you get photos you like and I burn a few extra calories. Not bad, really.
My passion and biggest asset is taking the time to make every client comfortable and relaxed before I even pick up the camera. The result? Photos of you that actually look like you at your best! I can prove to you how much you can enjoy having your picture taken. Lifestyle photography is about the experience that happens to be served up along side of some great photos.
