Perfect Planning
Exactly a year ago I had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Constantin’s wedding, a luxurious event held in Downtown Toronto. Everything right down to the bride’s gift for her mother and the beautifully crafted cake was planned perfectly. Stephanie has an eye for detail and I could tell that her skillful touch went into the whole planning process. I had experience working with Stephanie and Constantin on their engagement and bridal shower party, so I knew to expect nothing but the best.
Serendipity
Stephanie and Constantin met on a blind date. The two hit it off immediately during the date yet, somehow they knew they weren’t ready for a relationship at the time. Serendipitously they meet up years later by chance at an event at the Rogers Center in Toronto. This time they were both ready and they dated for another couple of years before Constantin proposed on Orthodox Easter. The proposal was a complete surprise for the whole family and the couple was able to celebrate properly with their loved ones. Stephanie and Constantin seem to be living in sync, not competing for attention from one another. In love and blissful.
Time to Sparkle!
Not everyone can pull off diamonds. Not everyone can decorate with sparkles. But, Stephanie can. From her jewelry to the guests’ gifts to the bridesmaids’ bouquets, nothing was left untouched by Stephanie’s sparkly hand and each detail was executed with precision. I found myself looking closely at the decorations to see where the sparkly treasures were hidden. Amidst her orchid bouquet Stephanie had rhinestones placed beautifully on top of the filler flowers. This was an unexpected touch, but added to Stephanie’s elegant dress.
Downtown Location
The West River Event Centre was filled with romance on Stephanie and Constantin’s special day. The ambience was enchanting and it was a pleasure to celebrate their love and commitment in a beautifully decorated hall. The lighting magnified the romance and the love in the air was almost palpable. I liked having a unique background in the indoor photos I took.
Taking It Outside
While the Church of St. Timothy and the West River Event Centre provided great indoor photo opportunities, we headed outside for a photo session and fresh air. We began taking photos at the green-filled Alexander Muir Memorial Park. We were able to capture some fantastic photos of not only Stephanie and Constantin, but of their close family and wedding party. The park was filled with opportunities for photos with large spaces for groups of people to small nooks and crannies to take a picture of the lovely couple. From there, we took some photos outside a prominent shopping area which gives the photos an elegant look and depicts Stephanie and Constantin’s fine taste.
Overall it was a beautiful day with a group of photogenic people! My job was easy and there were so many opportunities for pictures!
My passion and biggest asset is taking the time to make every client comfortable and relaxed before I even pick up the camera. The result? Photos of you that actually look like you at your best! I can prove to you how much you can enjoy having your picture taken. Lifestyle photography is about the experience that happens to be served up along side of some great photos.
