It was a rainy day at this photo shoot but we decided to have some amazing fun and go through with the session anyway and I’m glad we did! Playing hide and seek with the weather can tire some people out, but Oliver’s family was full of energy the whole time.
Returning from her session last year, I got to see her boys & girl growing up fast and though eager to play, gave in to the temporary pull of the camera before going back to their playful ways, full of gusto. Watching how children respond to the camera and having those few seconds of a moment shared between family members makes sessions that sometimes seem posed well and executed even better, more like photojournalism than one might expect.
It was a great day for a photo shoot, rain aside, because this family gave me so many photographic gifts to work with. I had a great time and look forward to another session!
