Weddings celebrate the transformative and long lasting love that two people find, inviting the important people in their lives to celebrate with them. This was true of the nuptials exchanged between Jamee and Rayon whose wedding day could best be summed up by the word, ‘celebrate’. The beautiful and boisterous couple had excited smiles on their faces all day and the tight bonds of family were evident threads in the tapestry this couple has begun weaving in their journey together.
The bridal party and groomsmen all shone with pride as Jamee and Rayon made the glorious leap into matrimony. Taking pictures of both groups quickly revealed different dynamics that you immediately knew added to the richness of the love these two wonderful people share. One of the great parts of this job is photographing groups so at ease with themselves that these moments in life are about playing and savoring the fun in each moment. You can’t help but find yourself enjoying it right along with them.
We got pictures of the happy couple and their families after the ceremony and these pictures reflect a support system like no other, demonstrating how much love surrounded them on their special day. The presence of that much love and care in one group makes being a photographer easy. You find that every element you’re looking for starts showing up on its own and all you have to do is wait a few seconds before another great ray of light and life shines through to bring about another great picture. The entire day was a whirlwind of all the things that life is about celebrating- love, family, friendship and looking forward to the great things tomorrow will bring.
