This photo shoot was booked while the mother of little Sofia was still in the hospital. Any new mother is likely to be concerned with the ins and outs of the experiences their baby will go through and though it took some time before her mother Darline relaxed, she did and the love she has for her child shone through. It’s a great joy to be able to capture a mother’s first few interactions with her child, navigating firsts that will one day become routine.
It’s rare to have a newborn baby so awake and ready to go, but we managed to get the whole family together for some great shots that captured the essence of a young, growing family. There are few things that compare to seeing the dynamics of a family changing right before your eyes as the love in it continues to grow.
