Jeremy Clark’s Family Portrait Session at Heart Lake Conservation Area, Brampton, ON

Taking photos outdoors as the beginnings of winter grow firm in its grip of nature can create such magical settings that have a way of transcending any effect Photoshop could create. The rich colors of fall and the blending of other powerful elements to create a symphony for the eyes in a picture, is really a photographer’s dream. Even more powerful factors in taking photos than the changing seasons are the subjects themselves and how meaningful their interactions are in front of the camera. This was incredibly true in the case of Jeremy, Natalie and baby Hudson.

Stating that Hudson was the “spitting image” of his Dad would be an understatement. When he would look into his father’s eyes and see pure love reflected back, his face would break into whatever expression ‘Daddy’ was showing him. Carbon copy would be a better way to describe watching these playful interactions. Wherever Jeremy’s facial expressions took the two of them, Hudson was right there to match each one with surprising accuracy for a child so small.

After seeing him interact with both parents, it was very clear that Hudson was the perfect strong name for a baby with such an already strong personality.
