After searching for a Heart Lake Conservation family photographer who was familiar with the location, Daniella stumbled across my blog.
At the time we were both based in Brampton so were able to organize a family photo session with a fast turnaround time.
Incorporating your pet into your outdoor family photo sessions
Daniella made sure to represent the whole family unit by bringing along their dog. This added a lot of spontaneity to the session and made for some really dynamic photos.
I was instantly mesmerized by the little girl’s eyes that showcased her natural curiosity. This curiosity really helped our sight lines as she couldn’t take her eyes off me.
There were a couple of images that I felt stood out from the session. Daniella and her daughter were trying to touch noses which resulted in a natural and raw, emotionally charged moment. I loved that I managed to capture it as it was a spontaneous move from the little girl. Another favourite was of the whole family including the dog, whose presence added to such a powerful composition and showcased his important role in the family as protector.
We had been lucky with the weather as the rain that was anticipated, held off until the last few shots. It turned out to be a light rainfall so we managed to work with it. It added a fun and exciting element with lots of giggles from everyone as the rain tickled their faces.
No need to travel far for fantastic outdoor family pictures by your own Heart Lake Conservation Family Photographer
When planning outdoor pictures, whether a professional photo session or using a simple camera, keep an eye out to see what’s in your neighbourhood. You don’t need a fancy location or to invest a large amount of time or effort into planning and researching. Utilize local trails and parks and head outside to spend time with your loved ones. Snap some keepsake family pictures and create memories to last a lifetime.
My passion and biggest asset is taking the time to make every client comfortable and relaxed before I even pick up the camera. The result? Photos of you that actually look like you at your best! I can prove to you how much you can enjoy having your picture taken. Lifestyle photography is about the experience that happens to be served up along side of some great photos.
